HANDOVER CEREMONY OF NEW MINISTER OF MIFOTRA HONORABLE PROF. BAYISENGE JEANNETTE

On Monday 28th August 2023 at the Ministry of Public Service and Labour Headquarters took place a handover ceremony between the outgoing Minister Honorable Rwanyindo Kayirangwa Fanfan, and the incoming Minister Honorable Prof. Bayisenge Jeannette.

In her remarks, the outgoing Minister Hon. Rwanyindo Kayirangwa Fanfan, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to serve Rwanda over the course of six years as Minister of MIFOTRA. She extended her thanks to the dedicated staff and stakeholders who had collaborated tirelessly to achieve good results during her tenure.

"I will always treasure the exceptional professionalism, flexibility, collaboration, and hard work exhibited by the members of MIFOTRA and our valued partner institutions,"

The incoming Minister, Prof. Bayisenge Jeannette, conveyed her profound gratitude for the trust placed in her by H.E. Paul Kagame, the President of Rwanda. Prof. Bayisenge's remarks resonated with a spirit of dedication to fostering professionalism, achieving outstanding performance, and enhancing service delivery across public institutions.

Honorable Prof. Bayisenge Jeannette was appointed as Minister of Public Service and Labour on 23rd August 2023, the time she was serving as Minister of Gender and Family promotion since 2020.
