Investing in future: 260 Young Entrepreneurs Awarded for Outstanding Projects in Youth Connect
Today, the Ministry of Youth and Arts (MOYA) and the Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA), in partnership with UNDP, awarded 260 young entrepreneurs whose projects have excelled through the 13th Youth Connect Awards.
This year, special emphasis was placed on agriculture, women entrepreneurs, and artists.
In his remarks, Mr. Gaspard Musonera, the Permanent Secretary at MIFOTRA, congratulated the awardees and stated;
"Today, we are not merely awarding prizes; we are investing in the future of Rwanda. Your entrepreneurial spirit and dedication form the foundation of a thriving Rwanda, where innovation drives sustainable growth and creates opportunities for all. Your hard work, creativity, and resilience are a testament to the boundless potential of Rwanda’s youth."
Over the past 10 years, 2,240 businesses have been recognized through this initiative, with some successfully expanding into global markets through product exports.
