MIFOTRA launches digital platforms and labour market analytical reports
On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the Skills Office under MIFOTRA, in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation and USAID Hanga Akazi, launched a series of labour market analytical reports and digital platforms designed to bridge the digital divide to enhance employment opportunities and labour market research in Rwanda.
Representing the Ministry of Public Service and Labour (MIFOTRA), Mr. François Ngoboka, Ag. Chief Skills Officer, urged graduates, young professionals, jobseekers, universities, and employers to explore the newly launched platforms to access information on various employment and learning opportunities.
Professional Internship Portal: www.internship.rw - Connects interns to industries, ensuring equitable access to work-relevant experience and a smooth transition from education to employment.
Kora Job Portal: www.jobportal.kora.rw — enables matching by bridging the information gap between employers and job seekers, making job opportunities accessible to a wider audience.
Rwanda Labour Market Information System: www.lmis.rw - Provides real-time data on job trends, skills demand, and job opportunities, enabling informed decision-making for job seekers, employers, and policymakers.
Graduates Tracer Survey: www.gts.rw - Tracks graduate labour market outcomes, and provides valuable insights into the relevance of training programs.
