Ministry of Public Service and Labour Holds Ministerial Handover Ceremony

The Ministry of Public Service and Labour on Monday, 15th June 2026, officially held a handover ceremony marking the transition between the outgoing Minister, Hon. Ambassador Christine Nkulikiyinka, and the incoming Minister, Hon. Judith Uwizeye.

In her remarks, Hon. Ambassador Christine Nkulikiyinka reflected on the values that guided her tenure, emphasizing integrity, professionalism, and dedication to citizens as central pillars of public service. She further highlighted the importance of upholding the principle of “Service Before Self” in the continued delivery of effective and responsive public services.

Hon. Minister Judith Uwizeye expressed appreciation to Hon. Ambassador Christine Nkulikiyinka for her leadership and contribution to strengthening the Ministry’s work and institutional progress. She reiterated her commitment to building on existing achievements through continued public sector reforms, enhanced service delivery, strengthened job creation initiatives, and citizen-focused programmes aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of services across public institutions.
