The Head of Cooperation from the Belgium Embassy and Resident Representative of Enabel paid a courtesy call on Hon. Minister Jeannette Bayisenge

On Wednesday, October 4^th, 2023, a delegation composed of the Head of Cooperation at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Kigali, Mr. Jean-Michel Swalens, and the Resident Representative of Enabel in Rwanda, Mr. Dirk Deprez, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Jeannette Bayisenge, the Minister of Public Service and Labour.

The discussions focused on accelerating the implementation of the ongoing interventions supported and financed by the Kingdom of Belgium through Enabel.

Noting that the aforementioned interventions aim at promoting job creation and fostering decent work, Enabel is currently engaged in a partnership with MIFOTRA in a five-year project on social protection interventions, spanning from 2022 to 2026, and is also supporting systematic evaluation on the revamping of Rwanda Management Institute (RMI) into a capacity building center of excellence.
