MIFOTRA and UNITAR to collaborate in capacity building and skills development
On Thursday 18 September 2025, Hon. Minister of Public Service & Labour Amb. Christine Nkulikiyinka received Mr. Mejia Alex, Director of the Division for People and Social Development at UNITAR.
The meeting focused on exploring avenues for collaboration between the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and MIFOTRA in capacity building, training, and skills development, in alignment with the National Employment and Skills Strategy (NESS 2024–2029).
UNITAR also brings a strong global network that can support Rwanda through exchanges of knowledge and best practices with other countries. We look forward to building on this partnership to advance Rwanda’s skills and employment agenda.
